Job Description
My client is currently looking for a working foreman to work on a civils project in Sunderland to start (ideally) Monday 15th.
This is an excellent freelance opportunity with potential for ongoing work which could also lead towards a permanent position
- Rate is negotiable - we pay CIS, Umbrella or PAYE
- Role will initially be based in Sunderland for at least a few months
- Once site is completed can be moved to an alternate site in Gateshead
- Will be required to work on the ground as well as oversee other groundworkers
- Requires SSSTS / SMSTS
Role will include:
- Liaising with both site management, engineer and trades operatives
- Allocating daily responsibilities within the team and coordinating
- Reading and working with drawings
- Ensuring the safety of yourself and others
- Supervision of trades workers whilst also carrying out groundworks duties
- Ordering materials
- Completing relevant paperwork

- Proof of SSSTS / SMSTS
- Picture of either passport or birth certificate and NI number
- 2 working references to validate previous experience working within a similar role
