PEO Lecturer - Performing Engineering Operations

Job Description

Protocol are delighted to invite a skilled PEO Tutor to deliver performing engineering operations to level 3. The role will be based in Merseyside, delivering to students working within the engineering industry, who are looking to gain the relevant qualifications to go along with their working experience.

We are seeking candidates who are passionate about engineering and have the drive and motivation to help learners to progress in their careers, increase their employability and support their personal development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, we are particularly interested in fabrication and welding and bench fitting.

Full and part time roles available - Previous teaching desirable but not essential.

This role is very likely to become permanent - the college would like to take temporary staff on permanently after some time to settle in to the college.

The person & qualifications
*A level 3 or higher engineering qualifications
*A teaching qualification and/or extensive industry experience
*Experience within a tutoring/ educational role (preferable but not essential)
*Willingness to provide high quality education to working students who are looking to gain *relevant qualifications
*Knowledge of C&G and EAL qualifications desirable
