Business Analyst Full time Breedon on the Hill, Derby

Based at our Head Office within easy access of East Midlands Airport, this is a perfect opportunity for an experienced analyst looking for the next step in their career or someone looking for a new challenge to get stuck into! The successful candidate will be an experienced analyst with excellent attention to detail, who is keen to get stuck in and engage with a rapidly growing part of our business.

You will have a structured and analytical approach to problem solving, and be keen to put forward and help to implement suggestions for business change.

key responsibilities:

• Conduct and publish daily analysis of activity and costs, identifying trends
• Conduct meaningful ad-hoc analysis, distil data into insights and proposed action to drive objective data-based decisions and improvements
• Take the initiative to challenge gaps, instilling collective understanding and confidence
• To gain, analyse and draw insights into logistics activity and costs, through understanding of the processes and systems
• Use own initiative to test ideas, identifying opportunities for improvements and support process change, new technologies and ways of working
• Develop detailed understanding of the activity and cost data, systems landscape, limitations, mitigation, and opportunities.

The successful candidate will be highly computer and analytically literate with the ability to use information technology to enhance performance. Resilient and tenacious, able to work under pressure and own initiative to get things done.

It is essential you are a good team player, highly motivated and a confident communicator, enabling you to forge strong working relationships quickly at all levels.
