Electrical Engineer (Ref: 9594)

Job Description

This is a key role for a time-served Electrical Engineer working within the engineering team at our North End factory in Wiltshire. About the role You will maintain automated fixed and mobile block manufacturing infrastructure, plant and equipment at two sites to ensure production output is achieved. This includes scheduled out of hours breakdown support, preventative maintenance while working towards a continuous improvement environment. Other duties include: Take the leading role in electrical maintenance and inspection requirements Adhere to the company’s health and safety requirements and demonstrate continuous commitment to a zero-harm culture in the workplace Work to ISO 9001 and 14001 standards and the company productivity, housekeeping and maintenance regimes Fault finding Process improvements Support and mentor the electrical apprentice Work in conjunction with the other Engineers, Production staff and technicians What will you bring? Completed a mechanical & electrical apprenticeship or equivalent 18th Edition qualifies Inspection and testing City and guilds 2391 Mechanically competent in Hydraulics, pneumatics, conditional and preventative maintenance systems A flexible approach to working hours Ideally have qualifications around: Metal fabrication, welding, machine shop skills and abrasive wheels IT-literacy What can we offer you?
