Technical Support Manager - Modular Housing
Derbyshire - With travel to client sites as required
£45,000 - £50,000

We are looking for a Technical Manager to join a mass volume modular house manufacturer in Derby. With massive growth plans over the next coming years, this is a fantastically exciting opportunity for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the link between Technical Design, Production and Site installation
- Review and maintain design stage and gate approval process.
- To be responsible for the Technical Design details of the business
- Obtain product certification
- To be responsible for IP with regard to the buildings/modules and their manufacture and erection
- To work with the technical R&D team, suppliers and academics
- Ensure effective introduction of new technologies and concepts in to the manufacturing process
- Act as technical authority and manufacturing and site interface until handover.
- Ensure end product is to statutory, regulatory and customer requirements.
Who are we looking to speak to?
- Previous experience as a Technical Manager within the offsite sectors - modular, steel, timber
- Experience within the house building sector
- Experience of working with continuous improvement systems
- Confident at understanding technical drawings
- Excellent IT and CAD skills
- Commercially aware and able to self-motivate
