Chartered Building Surveyor Job in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire
Chartered Building Surveyor Job in Welwyn Garden City, for our award-winning Chartered Surveying Practice client. The role will be joining their building consultancy team working across mainly Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire, with some further afield travel required for national clients. Offering a salary of between £55,000 - £65,000 + Bonus + Hybrid Working.
Established in 2008, the 40 strong firm offers an extensive range of services and advice to tenants, landlords, investors, funders and developers from both the public and private sector, their current client base consists of offices, warehouses, business parks, retail, shopping centres, hotels and residential clients. You will be reporting directly to the Building Consultancy Partner playing a key part in the success and growth of the building consultancy team as well as managing junior members of the team. To be considered you must be MRICS qualified
Role & Responsibilities
- Residential and Commercial Building Survey reports
- Dilapidations
- Contract Administration & Project Management
- Party Wall Awards
- Building pathology and defects analysis
- Schedules of Condition and PPM reports
- Assisting with the development of APC candidates
Required Skills & Experience
- MRICS
- Ideally 3+ years' in building surveying post RICS qualification
- Private practice / consultancy experience
- Commercial and or residential Building Surveying experience
- CAD Literate
- Excellent client care skills
- UK Driving Licence and own vehicle
