Area Sales Manager - Construction

Location - Vauxhall, Southbank, Brixton, Lewisham, Bexley, Greenwich, Balham, Sidcup, Croydon

Salary - 35-38k plus bonus (10-20k) Company car, mobile, laptop

Client

A leading name in building materials and construction solutions. A good reputation with contractors for commercial washrooms and independent living solutions.

Working a small area in Kent looking after a huge database of contractors supporting them through all projects they are working on for new and refurbishment projects.

This role would suit someone who enjoys account management with an element of new business.

Responsibilities

· "Get the sale" using various customer sales methods (project tracking, account management) Evaluate customers skills, needs and build productive long lasting relationships

· Meet personal and team sales targets

· Research accounts and generate or follow through sales leads

· Attend meetings, sales events and trainings to keep abreast of the latest developments

· Maintain and expand client database

Requirements

· Proven sales experience of a construction product

· Track record of over-achieving targets

· Experience of working with contractors

· Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills

· Self-motivated and driven

Experience of selling multi product
