MPL Interiors is looking for an ambitious and experienced Business Development Manager to join its established design, build and refurbishment firm. Our aim is to develop and drive profitable sales, while vigorously targeting vertical segments.

About you

You should have a proven track record within the design and build sector, and come to MPL as a driven, results-focused team member. You'll also possess the desire for developing new opportunities and feel enthusiastic about meeting targets. Ideally, you'll be educated to degree level, should be comfortable with meeting clients and have experience in selling across the fit-out/refurbishment sector.

Key responsibilities:

  • Identify commercial, retail and healthcare fit-out project opportunities
  • Attend client meetings and understand client briefs
  • Work with our internal design and estimating teams to provide quotations
  • Ability to deliver engaging presentations to potential, new and existing clients
  • Price and cost negotiations
  • Provide account management for each project
  • Attend and contribute to sales meetings
  • Build long-term customer relationships

Key skills & experience:

  • Ideally educated to degree level
  • 2-3 years + proven experience of business development in the interior design/build industry
  • Ability to put together sales proposals and packages
  • Clean drivers' license
  • Excellent Communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to travel in London and South East 2-3 days per week
