~~What we’re looking for
Assistant Formwork Designer
Brentwood
We’re looking for a highly motivated individual who is interested in taking their first step into the construction industry. Working on formwork and scaffolding design, you’ll assist and support our Sales Engineers in meeting customer expectations by providing a first class technical service as you gradually build your knowledge and experience.
Key duties:
• Develop an understanding of PERI’s Technical design strategy, procedures and product knowledge to provide technical advice on PERI products when required
• Gain understanding of Formwork, Falsework and scaffolding designs
• Build industry knowledge to provide high quality technical drawings
• Problem solve by seeking clarity and direction from colleagues
• Produce accurate and economical drawings, schedules and quotations under supervision from senior technical team members
• Actively promote the supply of a first class technical service and lead by example
• Contribute ideas and suggestions to improve ways of working
• General Office administration duties
• Build a good rapport with Sales Engineers and customers
• Represent the Technical Team to collaborate with and support other regions and functions
What you’ll need
• GCSE’s Maths & English grades 7-9 & 4-6
• Desire to study your BTEC in civil engineering (essential)
• You may already have a BTEC in civil engineering or construction related subject

Other criteria
• Determined to develop good knowledge of AutoCAD / PERIcad and Design Analysis Programmes
