What we’re looking for
Senior Formwork Designers
Location: Brentwood
Salary and Benefits competitive with industry rates
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Formwork Designers to join our Technical Team in Brentwood. Whether it is a large engineering project or a smaller construction project, this role is responsible for ensuring that we accurately meet our customers’ requirements by providing our Sales Engineers with first class technical support.

Key duties:
• Develop an understanding of PERI’s products and Technical design strategy
• Assist the Team Leader in maintaining the operational performance of the Technical Office and, where necessary, support by leading the team in the Team Leaders absence
• Produce accurate and economical drawings, schedules and quotations whilst maintaining an efficient and effective use of time
• Ensure work produced is accurate
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all staff, customers and visitors
• Provide technical advice on all PERI products to customers and PERI Sales Engineers
• Actively promote the supply of a first class technical service and lead by example
• Maintain clear and concise records in accordance with company procedures
• Work closely with your team leader to ensure consistent, efficient working practices
• Build a good rapport with Sales Engineers and customers

 

 


What you’ll need

Experience
• A depth of experience in a similar role, working with all aspects of Formwork, Falsework and scaffolding designs
• Experience in management and staff development (Desirable)
• In depth knowledge of AutoCAD
• Desire to build knowledge of PERIcad
• In depth knowledge of Design Analysis Programs
• A civil engineering qualification
