Job Description

Job Title: Assistant Project Manager
Location: M23 Corridor
Sector: Timber Frame Construction
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000

• Are you an experienced Site Supervisor or Assistant Site Manager?
• Are you looking for a company that will support and develop you towards a Project Manager role?

You will be joining a well-respected timber frame manufacturer who provide a supply and install service to main contractors and developers. As an Assistant Project Manager, you will spend three months being closely mentored by the Construction Manager and Project Management team before taking on your own projects.

Communication is key to this role, and you will be trained in how to manage your clients, programmes and processes. Existing site knowledge and experience will be advantageous, particularly if coming from carpentry or timber framing.

We are looking for candidates who:

• Have a good understanding of build programs
• Understand the importance of building on time and on budget
• Possess excellent communication skills
• Work well under pressure
• Are flexible to adapt and learn when working towards a Project Manager role
• Based along the M23 Corridor

Desirable Qualifications and Skills:

• SMSTS
• CSCS
• Crane experience
• Knowledge of timber frame
• Site Management experience
