Control Room Operator (Ref: 9582)

Job Description

We are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity for a Control Room Operator to join our friendly and collaborative team at our Cauldon site. As a Control Room Operator, you will be working in a team environment ensuring the safe and uninterrupted operation of the plant in order to achieve production targets, product quality, maximize operational efficiency, and maintain environmental compliance, all in an atmosphere of continuous improvement and on-going change. About the role You will be responsible for operation of the Kiln, Raw Mill and Cements along with the auxiliary equipment. This role is a pivotal role in ensuring that the plant runs with high level of safety, efficiency and comply with all regulatory norms and involves the constant interaction with all the stakeholders, process, maintenance, quality, environment etc to ensure the smooth operation of the plant and produce good quality of clinker and cement. Other key deliverables include; Strictly follow & apply Safety regulations & procedures Permanent wear of specific and adequate PPE. Behave in accordance with safety rules established by the Group Inspect & maintain equipment to maintain compliance with environmental policies/regulations Know & prevent potential environmental spills associated with plant operations (major equipment) Monitor raw meal quality & take action according to quality manual Perform and manage the introduction of Alternative Raw Materials Monitor, operate and adjust mill lubrication system Monitor environmental emissions knowing the impact of operations on environmental emissions Operate QMC Collect samples properly (representativity) What will you bring?
