Framework / Contracts Manager (Ref: 9617)

Job Description

We have a new opportunity for an accomplished Framework Manager based in or around the Peterborough, Cambridge, Northamptonshire area - covering our Midlands territory. You will work with our Regional Directors and Highways England Service Director, operating as an ambassador for our business ensuring best value, solution, quality and customer service standards are maintained throughout the framework. About the role As one of our Framework Managers you will be the front face of Aggregate Industries in the eyes of Highways England focusing on improving safety, delivering customer service and road investment strategy. Working with regional teams and internal specialists you will ensure customer satisfaction and smooth running of projects. You will also work closely with Delivery Integration Partners throughout the early contractor involvement to explore commercial and operational improvements bringing in innovation from our wider business. Other elements to the role include: Ensuring the regional contracts are mobilised in a timely and effective manner with detailed embedded plans, including close attention to health and safety. Ensuring commercial systems and processes have been approved in accordance with the Framework requirements. Actively engage with business improvement and change management programmes and champion best practice. Carry out customer satisfaction measurement ensuring any improvements or actions are communicated to them What will you bring? Previous experience in a Framework Manager, Contract Manager or Area Manager position is highly desirable, working on Highways projects. Degree or equivalent, in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying or a similar Construction related qualification Excellent Communication Skills and a real ability to communicate up and down within Aggregate Industries and Highways England Experience in managing change and an ability to demonstrate a high level of behavioural adaptability Excellent time management skills, with ability to deliver tasks to deadlines IT literate and proficient in Microsoft Office packages Ability to lead by and set an example Experience in building collaborative relationships with existing and new clients and supplier ​What’s on offer?
