Design Technician required for this specialist in niche offsite construction, predominantly work on the installation factory manufactured elements into traditional build projects. They are part of a family owned group, which has more than 50 years' experience manufacturing products and supplying the construction industry. They have developed excellent relationships with leading main contractors as well as working on niche projects across the country including residential and student accommodation sectors. In 2017 they achieved a turnover of circa £7 million and saw this more than double to £16 million in 2018, with expectations that it will grow year on year to circa £30 million. They have a low staff turnover and the with the launch of a new product range they now need to expand their design team. The successful Design Technician will assist the Design Team Manager and Designers with production of drawing packages, whilst complying with the Quality, Health and Safety procedures of the Company.

As Design Technician your overall responsibilities will include: -
* All design work including Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, Detail, Fabrication, Wall Panel drawings, Howick design, BoM's either in Solid Works/AutoCAD 2/3D to be in compliance with Quality procedures, CDM regulations, Building Standards, relevant statutory requirements and any other relevant standards.
* Ensure all drawings and specifications are checked for accuracy and approved before issue.
* Work closely with the factory personnel to ensure optimum design and buildability of the product.
* Maintain drawing and documentation filing system to the required standards.
* Copy and issue design office documentation to the required standards within previously agreed timescales.
