Job Description
The Role - Maintenance Engineer (Multi-Skilled)
The successful Maintenance Engineer will be part of a highly skilled team of engineers responsible for the continuous running of equipment and machinery. Reporting to the Operations Manager and working alongside the Maintenance Supervisor.

The Right Person
The successful Maintenance Engineer will have the following experience and skills
A Qualification in either electrical or mechanical engineering
Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer
Be up to date and familiar with CNC and PLC machine operations
Ability to work well under pressure
Primary Responsibilities:
To carry out scheduled preventive and breakdown maintenance tasks
To carry out vacuum leak detection and leak rate testing
To become familiar with machine operations, both CNC & PLC
To maintain spare part stock levels
To check calibration status of instruments and gauges
To complete maintenance logs
To provide maintenance cover during weekends production periods as required
To work closely with engineering and production to schedule maintenance activities, to reduce downtime and improve quality
