Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Job Description

Our major international client is looking to recruit a Shift Electrical Maintenance Engineer to their expanding team.

This is a shift cover position, the shifts to cover are: 12 hour shifts, 6 til 6, 4on 4off, days & nights rotating. When you are not covering a shift you will be on Mon - Fri Days.

Electrical Maintenance Engineer - Your main roles and responsibilities will be:
Attend breakdowns, fault find & repair on various machines and plant equipment, conduct PPM and assist on installation projects.
Ensure plant downtime is minimised through effective and efficient PPM's.
Rectifying breakdowns & faults quickly and efficiently.
Assist in identifying and implementing improvements to equipment, systems and procedures, ensuring H & S, Quality and good Engineering Practice standards are adhered to.

You will be a proactive electrical maintenance engineer, with a continuous improvement approach, embracing modern production techniques in this modern plant.

Our client produces millions of products a month therefore candidates that have significant experience in the FMCG/Process industry coupled with solid electrical qualifications, ideally 18th Edition are encouraged to apply.
Candidates that meet the above criteria and also have HV experience / certification and HV switching knowledge and experience will be at an advantage.

Candidates will have solid experience in one or all of the following:
1. Working at heights
2. Plant Maintenance, plant room, (HV - nice to have)
3. Heavy/fast moving production/manufacturing environment
