Job Description

This is a key role for a time-served Electrician, you will be working within the engineering team at our Hulland Ward site. About the role Your day to day responsibilities will include the planned and reactive maintenance of fully automated and electrically driven machinery such as hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, and robotics. The role will also involve root-cause PLC fault finding, repair, and some programming. Other duties include: Undertake electrical work in accordance with UK legislation and Aggregate Industries standards using the safe working procedures set out in Aggregate Industries policies, procedures and instructions Fault finding Process improvements Energy reduction Maintain all diagrams, circuit schedules and other information Maintain all PLC controlled equipment including program modifications to suit production needs Safety related control systems for machinery Ensure all PPM schedules are carried out in a timely manner Mentoring of apprentices What will you bring? 18th edition wiring regulations Inspection and testing City and guilds 2391 PLC experience, fault finding and programming A flexible approach to working hours IT-literacy What can we offer you?
