Job Description

Job Title: Part Time - Accounts Assistant

Location: Ballymount Dublin

Salary: Neg Doe

Exciting opportunity within the finance team of a BMS Company based in Ballymount Dublin 12. We are looking to fill a Part Time Temporary position to cover Maternity Leave. Hours will be approx. 20 hours per week Monday to Friday, morning to afternoon. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to a wide range of financial activities in a busy rewarding environment. This candidate will work closely with the Accounts Department.

Responsibilities of this account assistant role include:

  • Matching of purchase orders with purchase
  • Raising Purchase Orders on Sage.
  • Stock
  • Purchase order matching to invoice and follow
  • Preparation of creditor reconciliations on a monthly basis.
  • Issuing statements to
  • Expense claim checking versus policy, processing payment for these
  • Dealing with suppliers' queries as they
  • Working closely with the Accounts
  • Assisting in bringing the accounting process to trial balance
  • Ad Hoc duties as they arise.

Candidate Specification:

  • Experience in accounting
  • Excellent administration and organisation
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, Word &
  • Attention to details and processes, strong analytical
  • Highly motivated and enthusiastic.
  • Excellent communication
  • Proactive attitude, flexible and team
  • The ability to take ownership of aspects of the accounts function and take responsibility for meeting deadlines
