Multiskills Assessor (Property Maintenance)

Job Description

Protocol are pleased to present a full-time, nationwide tutor/assessor position within an Ofsted 'Outstanding' college with excellent staff benefits in the West Midlands.

The position will comprise of 37 hours Monday to Friday, with approximately 3 days per week at various locations nationwide and 2 days per week working from home.

Ideally you will have had a previous career carrying out maintenance for properties or other multi-disciplinary work such as:

* Electrical maintenance
* Carpentry & joinery
* Plastering
* Painting & decorating

In this role you will work across multiple sites nationally, on site for approximately 3 days per week (on rotation) with 2 days working from home per week. The sites are:

* Dudley, West Midlands
* Manchester
* Bath, Somerset

Role responsibilities

* Delivering professional courses to adult maintenance staff of a well-known national organisation
* Development and implementation of courses using existing industry knowledge

The person & qualifications

* Assessors award
* Relevant level 3 qualification (carpentry, P&D, plumbing, plastering, tiling) and an ability to carry out simple multiskilled building work in some of the other subjects.
