Product Certification Auditor
Home-based Northamptonshire
£depending on experience

Product Certification Auditor required for a multi-national organisation who work with many leading companies in ensuring their materials and products are certified for supply to the UK construction industry.
Home-based, with travel to your existing and new customers as well as your local lab, you will:
- Carry out factory and site audits, taking responsibility for the booking and planning to correspond with the required timescales
- Ensure responses to non-conformance raised are reviewed and approved
- Write and submit reports to record your findings during your audit visits
- Be the "front line" contact to handle any technical or compliance queries
- Produce quotations for any changes to the scope of certification before implementing these changes once they have been agreed
- Make decisions on certification after gathering and reviewing test evidence/audit results
We are keen to hear from you if you have:
- Experience in fire / security doors, windows, timber and steel construction products from the factory processes for product certification
- Worked in ISO9001 auditing - IRCA Lead Auditor qualified would be beneficial
- Installed fire doors or other fire-related products
- Proven understanding of manufacturing for construction from the factory process perspective
- Ability to work to tight deadlines, whilst planning logically and methodically
- Excellent project management and time management skills
- Good communication skills - written, verbal and face-to-face, and able to work independently within a team
