Job Description
Senior Estimator - Precast Concrete - Nottingham - £40-50K + Package
Company
Nottingham based Precast Concrete company who have been supplying precast concrete products to the construction and agricultural markets for the last 12 years
Job Role
You will:
- Take-off dimensions and quantities from technical drawings
- Manage estimates through full-lifecycle - encompassing design, manufacture, delivery & installation
- Thorough and rigorous use of online CRM to generate quotes and capture valuable customer data for business intelligence and marketing
- Establish & develop relationships with key customers
- Develop existing supplier relationships and possibly identify new suppliers to develop existing and new product range
Person
You will be an experienced precast concrete / civils estimator. It is essential you have experience with precast or civils, or both, preferably large projects with stairs, flooring, lift shafts, columns etc.
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Desktop proficiency in Outlook, internet and MS office software
- Experienced with technical dwg software - CAD, Active Takeoff, Bluebeam Review or similar highly advantageous but not essential
- Experienced with CRM systems
Ideally you would have some experience of civils estimating, groundworks etc. You will need to be someone who is dynamic and driven and who has the potential to lead a team.
