Job Description

As a Maintenance Engineer, reporting to the Mechanical Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for setting and maintaining a routine planned preventative maintenance scheme whilst supporting and improving the reliability of the busy Lound Charcon Construction Solutions Site. About the role Maintain all plant and machinery on site Carry out planned preventative maintenance as instructed and identify areas for improvement Diagnose and solve machine related problems Ensure that all work carried out is undertaken using safe working practices, whilst ensuring the safety of persons operating on or around the equipment Install and repair plant and equipment, ensuring all safety requirements are met and adhered to Undertake training as and when required and work with other departments on projects About you You will have completed a mechanical apprenticeship have certification in City & Guilds, B Tech, NVQ L3 or equivalent in plant maintenance Mechanical competencies to include: metal fabrication arc & gas welding machine shop skills strong all-round plant Electrical competence is advantageous Previous experience in fault finding with hydraulic & pneumatic systems Have a proven and proactive approach to site improvements What’s on offer?
