Job Description
Freelance Interior Designer Job in Bath
New requirement for a Freelance Interior Designer job with a commercial fit-out firm in Bath. The position will see you supporting a range of CAT A and CAT B office fit-out projects across London and the South. The position is being offered on a part-time basis of 4 days a week, for a period of 5-6 months from the client's office in Bath.
Our client has a specialist team of architects and interior designers focused on delivering commercial projects. The team of 10 cover all stages of the design life cycle and this position will see you working alongside established members to deliver the earlier stages of projects with a particular bias towards interior architecture.
Role & Responsibilities
- Detailing and specification of interior details (partitions/blockwork/ceiling junctions)
- Technical drawings including layouts with specifications, tender and construction drawing packages
- Hard furnishing selections/FF&E specification
- Travel to site as and when required (approximately once every three weeks).
Required Skills & Experience
- 2+ years' industry experience
- Industry-related degree, preferred
- Proficient Vectorworks user
- Knowledge of UK Building Regulations
- Ability to travel.
