Job Description

Interior Designer Job in Hatfield, Hertfordshire

Interior Designer job with a workplace/commercial design & build firm based in Hatfield, Hertfordshire. The role will see you working on a range of projects primarily across London and the Home Counties but covering the whole UK as well. The role will see you work across all stages of design as part of a collaborative team with a long-standing history in the sector.

The practice specialises in commercial workplace interiors since its inception, over 40 years ago. Their team of 30 work collaboratively to design, develop and build projects from initial concept through to completion. With an ever-expanding portfolio of projects, they are now looking for an experienced workplace interior designer to join their design team.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Understand and interpret client requirements for commercial projects across the UK
  • Concept design research and planning, creation of mood boards, selections and furnishings
  • Technical drawings both in 2D and 3D
  • Site and client visits
  • Assist in the development and delivery of client presentations
  • FF&E specification and selection
  • Ensure adherence to national and local building and safety codes across all stages.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Degree qualified in interior design or similar
  • 3+ years' of industry experience, ideally within workplace D&B
  • Full UK Driving licence
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit would also be highly advantageous
  • Confident liaising with clients.

What you get back

  • Salary up to £45,000.
