Interior Designer Job in Manchester
Mid-Weight Interior Designer job with a leading Design & Build firm, working from their office in Manchester. The successful Mid-Weight Interior Designer will be from a workplace/commercial design background and be familiar with the D&B industry. You will have fantastic exposure to all aspects of the design process and take responsibility for managing key parts of the process. The role is offering a salary of up to £45,000 and great progression opportunities.
Established over a decade ago, my client is well-established and a leader within their sector. Current projects range from 5,000sqft to 50,000sqft+. This role will be joining an existing team of creative designers and you will be involved in projects from concept through to realisation, focused on the creation and delivery of workplace projects across the UK. My client is also open to considering candidates from either a D&B or consultancy background.
Role & Responsibilities
- Produce high-quality project deliverables
- Concept designs and design development
- Produce technical drawings and packages
- Liaise directly with clients for presentations and meetings
- FF&E specification and selection
- Visit sites and oversee installation
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years' experience in workplace/commercial design, ideally from a D&B background
- Proficient Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Suite user
- Strong understanding of the full design process
- Degree qualified in interior design, interior architecture, or architecture
