Maintenance Engineer

Job Description

Maintenance Engineer - Mechanical or Electrical (60/40 either way)

Bedford, Milton Keynes - Commutable from Northamptonshire

Permanent Shifts - 4 days a Week (Tue-Fri) or 3 Days a week (Fri-Sun) or 3 Nights a week (Fri-Sun)

Salary: £46,500 for all 3 shifts + Training & Package

We are a successful market leader within our industry, specialising in the food/fmcg sector. Due to continued growth, we are looking to add a maintenance engineer to join our already successful team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a maintenance engineer to work for someone who supply some of the biggest food companies in the world and a company who develop and cross-train at every given opportunity.

The Company:

Turnover in excess of 250 million as a group
Food industry environment

The Candidate:

A qualified maintenance engineer - mechanical or electrical apprentice trained or HNC qualified
Must be willing to work shift pattern stated above
Understanding or any PLC exposure will be beneficial - Fault finding
Experience on checkweighers, detectors, ovens, slicers - beneficial
Experience within the food industry would be a massive advantage
Must live within a commutable distance from Bedford
