Lift Industry

Commutable from: Northampton, Leicester, Milton Keynes, London, Guildford, Reading, Southampton, Portsmouth, Bournemouth, Oxford, Swindon, Bristol

Sales Patch - Northampton around M25 down to Southampton, (East Midlands and South)

Basic Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 DOE + Attractive Commission Structure + Company Bonus!

    Are you a proven Sales Executive of lift engineering maintenance contracts? Have you got a strong pipeline management strategy? Are you an experienced Area Sales Manager specialising in selling service contracts? Do you regularly overachieve on sales targets and objectives?

We are searching for a skilled Passenger Lift Salesman for an approved lift specialist in the passenger and goods lifts industry.

As a Sales Executive of lift maintenance contracts you will be familiar with most types of manufacturers. You will also be used to travelling as part of your job and happy travelling from Northampton down to Southampton as far West as Cardiff and as far East as Essex.

We are looking for a skilled Sales Executive with service sales experience. The ideal candidate will come from the passenger lift industry with an engineering background and engineering degree or similar qualifications including NVQ 3. The successful candidate will have experience winning new business and project managing the contracts through to completion.

The Role

    You will be responsible for - Winning new business from surveying and quoting new clients. Work collaboratively with the client from start to finish, including ordering key components. Upon completion of audits you will need to write detailed reports of your findings. This will include your recommendations for modernisation's, repairs or full replacement of lifts. Proactively develops and creates customer relationships in his/her area of responsibility Accountable for developing company customer base or market area

The Sell

    Accountable for lead generation and lead conversion, opportunities, orders and contracts to meet the sales budget and pricing targets Validates that the contents of the order received from the customer are in line with the negotiation process outcome, including terms and conditions, quality and safety Accountable for hand-over to installation engineering team with complete and correct information Timely and accurate reporting

The Person

    You have successful sold service contracts in the lift industry You will not be adverse to travelling between clients account managing and pitching new business. You will target Architects and main building merchant contractors to gain new projects and specifications whilst trying to break existing specifications of competitor products. Your targets will be in terms of turnover, profit and number of installs. You will be of the mindset that this is your business and you will be driven to put in the effort, miles and time to make this a success
