Senior Engineer- Civil/Marine Projects

Job Description

Due to increased client demand, this Belfast based consultancy is looking to expand it's Marine/Civil department. We are seeking a new team member to be responsible for the delivery of technical designs on a wide range of civil engineering and maritime projects across the UK.

You will be supervising a team of Engineers and overseeing the design of a range of maritime and civil structures. This will include managing the procurement of civil engineering contracts. Supporting a Director, this is an opportunity to take the lead in client management and project delivery and assist in the general administration of the Team, managing the workload utilisation associated with project delivery.

This role requires a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and have achieved Chartered Engineer status with ICE, IEI, IStructE or equivalent. You should have plenty of experience designing civil engineering structures that includes delivering significant projects with substantial client interface. Understanding delivery on time will be second nature to you and you need to be experienced enough to foresee problems before they arise. You will enjoy face to face client engagement and be comfortable in a role that places greater emphasis on team management and project management.

Please note, there is no relocation available for this role so it is preferred for applicants to live commutable of Belfast.
