Building Services Design Engineer

c£40,000 + bonus + benefits
Full time, permanent

Superb opportunity for a Building Services Design Engineer to join an innovative business who are at the beginning of their journey but with some significant financial backing. You can be part of a growing industry and bring your housing knowledge and experience into an exciting part of the housing sector.

As Building Services Design Engineer, you will be particularly involved in the Design for Manufacturing part of the process, undertaking a variety of mechanical & electrical services design and drafting functions, using Revit and other AutoDesk packages:

• Preparation and updating of product 3D models
• Preparation of assembly and manufacturing drawings
• Maintenance of part and component hierarchies

Working closely with your Manager, you will be liaising with stakeholders through the final stages of design and manufacture, assisting in the final stages of the new product design process, using your expertise in Building Services Design with the factory, end users and statutory bodies.

We are keen to hear from you if you are:

• Educated with a good degree in Engineering or similar discipline
• Experienced in design of domestic building services / mechanical & electrical
• Knowledgeable in Building Regulations Part P and CDM 2015 Regulations
• Expert user of AutoDesk software including Revit, Inventor, Vault, AutoCAD
• Ideally if you are also experienced in offsite construction this would be of particular interest
