Mechanical Engineering Workshop Technician

Job Description

DN Colleges Recruitment are delighted to be working in association with Protocol to recruit for a major education provider based in South Yorkshire. Every year they inspire thousands of students to develop skills that will help them to reach their full potential by offering a wide range of courses across; further education, adult education, higher education, professional and technical qualifications, and apprenticeships.

Our client is looking for a Mechanical Workshop Technician on a full-time basis, Monday to Friday. This is a temporary role but could lead to a permanent contract for the right candidate.

The person & qualifications

* Minimum Level 2 Mechanical Engineering qualification
* Workshop experience
* Able to demonstrate industry knowledge - Fabrication & Welding would be beneficial
* Experience working in a College setting is desirable
* Hold a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one
