Permanent role based in Wigston Commutable from Oadby, Whetstone, Blaby and surrounding areas

Interviewing immediately

Daytime hours 40 hour week

Mon - Fri 0800 - 1630

Paying up to 27000

Unlimited overtime available and paid at a premium

Description

As a hands on Production Supervisor you will be working on the shop floor welding and fabricating and working closely as part of the manufacturing team and report into the MD.

The main role and responsibilities of a Production Supervisor, but are not limited to, the following:

Welding and fabricating POS

Allocating work to employees, setting production targets and communicating precise instructions

Responsible for overseeing all facets of the day to day operation, ensuring that product built meets required test and quality specifications

Working with managers to implement the company's policies and goals

Manage a multi-disciplinary team of 5 full time employees

Reported weekly status of builds to company Management

Ensures that all employees work in a safe manner, in a safe environment

Person specification

● Leadership

Previous experience welding and fabrication of POS

● Production Experience

● Good Written and Oral Communication Skills

● Problem Solving Abilities

● Delegation

● Ability to Work and Make Decisions Under Pressure

● People Person

● Ability to Work as Part of a Team
