Property Maintenance Operative Lecturer - Carpentry Bias

Up to £38K per annum - Full-time permanent

Are you a property maintenance specialist looking for a new career? We need you to pass on your knowledge to a new generation of quality maintenance operatives.

Ideally you will have had a career as a handyman/tradesman for properties carrying out multi-disciplinary work such as:

*Electrical maintenance
*Carpentry & joinery
*Plastering
*Painting & decorating


*Due to existing staff's strengths the ideal applicant would have a minimum level 3 in carpentry & joinery.


Role responsibilities

*Delivering professional courses to adult maintenance staff of a well-known national organisation

*Development and implementation of courses using existing industry knowledge


The person & qualifications

*The ideal candidate will have a positive 'can do' attitude and hold relevant property maintenance or carpentry qualifications or proof of equivalent experience

*Recent and relevant industry experience or recent teaching experience essential

*Teaching and assessing qualifications are highly desirable but not essential
