Water Hygiene Technician

Job Description

Due to continued growth our client is looking to recruit X2 Water Hygiene Technicians to their expanding team on a permanent basis.
You will possess some experience as a water hygiene technician or water technician with a desire to expand your skill set and grow within the company.
This position comes with a company van & fuel card and will involve extensive travel and 4/5 nights per month on average stays away from the home.
Candidates will reside in the West Midlands area between Stafford and Worcester and across to Coventry in order to complement our client's customer base.

Water Hygiene Technician - Essential Criteria
* MUST hold a Full Driving Licence
* You must pass a CRB clearance
* Water Hygiene Technician experience

Water Hygiene Technician - Main Roles & Responsibilities
* Collection of water samples from customer premises
* Taking water temperatures from various outlet types within buildings
* Inspecting Water Tanks
* Conducting analysis of water from closed water systems
* Carry out Clean & Disinfection of Domestic hot and cold water systems
* Clean and descale shower-heads
* Follow method statements accurately
* You will need to possess excellent communication skills to communicate with customers and colleagues
* Be able to work on your own also as part of a team
* Work nationwide
* You will need to be flexible in order to do overnight stays, where necessary
* Work to planned routes / deadlines
* You will be required to work out of hours and weekends occasionally as part of the job
* You will be expected to do some administrative duties which will include the use of a tablet and paperwork to log your work
