Salary: Up to £32,000 dependent on experience

Protocol are working on behalf of our client to recruit for a permanent full time Fabrication and Welding Trainer/Assessor in the Carlisle area. The role of the Fabrication/Welding Trainer/Assessor is to deliver, assess and where necessary offer support to learners engaged in fabrication engineering courses up to level 3, in accordance with the awarding body guidelines. Role responsibilities
To deliver and assess fabrication/welding engineering courses up to and including level three.
To develop and maintain the current fabrication/welding engineering course material including lesson plans and schemes of work for a range of courses.
Assist in assessing, changing curricular needs and offers plans for improvement.
To review course content and delivery methods on a regular basis
To assist in the overall development of the training centre.


The person & qualifications
Have a minimum of three years experience in industry in Fabrication/Welding
Hold a level three qualification in Fabrication/Welding
Hold an assessor qualification
