Job Description

The Company and the Role:
The Company is a global temporary facility builder, and integrated FM and logistics provider. They operate in a number of environments but within the UK their work tends to focus on providing support services to large engineering and construction projects.
The company has recently won a contract to build a number of temporary buildings, including Offices, Canteens, Welfare facilities, Medical room, Warehouses and a Training facility, in support of a major construction and engineering project in the Waterside area of Southampton.
It is now urgently seeking applications for the position of Scheduler / Planner.
This is a senior position which will be part of the project management team and the company is looking to appoint a person quickly  before the likely start date for the project which is  around mid - July and will last for around 9 months.
Key Features of the Role:
Work closely with Designers and Project Managers to develop and maintain detailed resource loaded schedules of Design/Build construction projects using MS Project 2016.
Integrate multiple schedules into a master project schedule, base line, status, and perform measurement baseline.
Utilise your Scheduler / Planner experience to produce Gantt, milestone charts, and other tools used to support critical path analysis, near-term tasks work, priority-based resource allocations, performance variances, and to support cost/schedule integration.
Gather and analyse information to prepare reports on the progress of projects and frequent
onsite visits to review construction progress required.
Work in collaboration with project management team to drive consistency of the project scheduling approach to facilitate accuracy in project execution and reporting and facilitate and participate in weekly schedule reviews.
Follow hazard elimination program (HELP).
Knowledge and Skills Required:
Ideally an accomplished Scheduler / Planner with construction site experience.
Subject matter expertise using MS Project to manage an integrated master schedule and the supporting detailed schedules.
Be proficient in MS Office MS Project or Primavera P3 or P6 and MS Excel and experience in producing Gantt and milestone charts.
Ideally you will have a valid CCNSG passport or relevant document and be able to follow safety rules as assigned by the Company.
Proficient in MS Office Word, Excel.
What’s on Offer?
£26,000 -30,000 pro rata on a rata on a temporary worker basis
Minimum Holidays are expected to be taken from mid- July to November unless fully authorised by the Senior Manager on site.
