In order to support this, we have an exciting opportunity for a Plant Operative to join the team at our Moorcroft plant in Plymouth. About the role Operating to the highest health, safety, environmental and quality standards, you’ll play a key role in contributing to profitability by maximising productivity whilst minimising waste and inefficiencies. Operating both fixed and mobile plant, you’ll also undertake basic maintenance and housekeeping duties to keep the plant running at its best at all times Please note the role involves shift working and will include an element of nights and weekend working in order to meet customer demand Key elements of the role include: Operation of fixed production plant Dispatching and controlling the quality of finished product Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping; ensuring areas are clean, tidy and hazard free Dealing with all issues professionally and liaising with site management on a regular basis Monitor and ensure that all production data, plant maintenance activity and logs are kept up to date and documented correctly Carrying out daily plant inspections What will you bring?
