Operator The main responsibilities for the Operator include but are not limited to the safe and efficient operation of production equipment as well as general maintenance and housekeeping of the plant. Tasks and Responsibilities Completion of Health, Safety and Environmental duties Accepting and discharging alternative fuels and incoming materials Complete and record all necessary procedural documentation to ensure legal compliance for transferred waste Assistance with plant operations as required by Shift Supervisor Mobile plant operations First line maintenance duties Essential Criteria Able to adapt and work well with others in a team environment Be able to communicate problems and solution ideas clearly to other members of the team Detail conscious, organized, accurate and methodical Possess a positive and proactive attitude towards safety, health and environmental issues Demonstrate a positive attitude toward customers (both internal and external) Good time management and planning skills Ability to manage a high workload Work without supervision Desirable Have a valid CITB (or equivalent) Forklift Truck License Have a valid CITB (or equivalent) Loading Shovel License Have a valid CITB (or equivalent) Bull Dozer License Have a valid CITB (or equivalent) MEWP No agencies please.
