Our Head Office located in Newcastle upon Tyne is looking to recruit a Project Data Analyst to work within the Finance Department on a temporary basis for 6 months. The Role The Project Data Analyst reports into the Head of Business Systems and Processes and will have Main Objectives as listed below: To be responsible for all data aspects within the newly implemented COINS ERP system, to ensure highest level of data integrity To support and assist in the resolution of remaining data and system issues following the completion of the implementation of the COINS ERP system To support and assist in generic testing activities relating to the upgrade of the COINS ERP system The duties and responsibilities below reflect principal elements of the Project Data Analyst role and is therefore not exhaustive: Manage and maintain the Central Data Repository containing supplier and sub-contractor standing data. Review, analyse and clean data within the Central Data Repository to improve the integrity of the standing data. Analyse and investigate issues from the initial system implementation as directed by the Business Systems and Processes Team. Assist, as directed, with testing activities relating to the upgrade of the COINS ERP system. Experience, Qualifications and Skills Experience 5+ years’ in a Finance Role Experience of data analysis and investigation of issues. Qualifications and Training Relevant degree qualification Skills and Aptitude Strong ability to analyse and understand data. Methodical with a strong attention to detail and a passion for accuracy. Deadline focussed and willing to go the extra mile to ensure compromises are not taken in achieving deadlines. Ability to investigate issues and understand root causes. Customer focussed and able to build effective relationships throughout the business. Excellent communication skills. Enthusiastic and good team player. The Role and Working Conditions Temporary Contract for 6 months.
