We are currently seeking a General Operative to join our Liverpool Asphalt Plant, within Agrgegate Industries.

About the role 
As one of our General Operatives reporting to our Assistant Plant Manager and operating to the highest health, safety, environmental and quality standards, you’ll play a key role in contributing to profitability by minimising waste and inefficiencies whilst maximising productivity.  Operating both fixed and heavy mobile plant, you’ll also undertake basic maintenance and housekeeping duties, working shift patterns, nights and weekends as required to ensure we achieve production targets.  In addition to plant and equipment inspections to ensure they are fit for purpose.

What will your bring?
Sound knowledge of Health & Safety procedures
Ability to operate MEWP, telehandler and loading Shovel. 
A qualified first aider, able to work both independently and as part of a team, you’re punctual and flexible
The ability to work to deadlines
Great customer focus
Good timekeeping and attendance record.
