Askham Bryan College is a dynamic and ambitious college and is one of the largest land-based colleges in the country. As part of the College's senior management team, the successful candidate will be central to enhancing the college's ethos of scholarship, high expectations and individual personal achievement. You will be responsible for the Newton Rigg campus and be the face of the college within the Cumbria area, establishing contacts and networks into the local government, business and educational communities.

Newton Rigg was acquired by Askham Bryan College in 2011 and since then become a key and vibrant part of the College. The new Director of Newton Rigg will continue that work, supporting the College Executive and undertaking a wide range of responsibilities to ensure the effective day to day running of the campus, providing a senior management point of contact for students, staff and external stakeholders. Newton Rigg is one of the College's two residential campuses and is located just two miles from Penrith.

Askham Bryan College has enjoyed a period of significant growth in both further and higher education. It continues to retain its focus on students and staff, with their success being the goal. This success comes in many forms an excellent academic performance, gaining a job in a chosen field or completing and enjoying the course, the aim is to nurture students to their maximum potential.
