Building Surveyor

Job Description

We are working with a Chartered Building Surveyors and Property Consultants, based in the heart of London. With the growing success, they now looking for a building surveyor to join our team. The approach draws on there rich heritage & experience, whilst embracing modern methods and new technologies. We provide a range of consultancy services such as Project Management, Party Wall, Acquisition Surveys & Technical Diligence. They offer a straightforward solutions-based approach to projects. We enable our clients to overcome obstacles, unlock projects and add value. Responsibilities: The role will include work in the following areas, • Schedules of Condition • Contract Administration and Project Management of schemes both in the public and private sectors. • Design – understanding of AutoCAD is beneficial • Planning and building control applications • Party Wall • Planned Preventative Maintenance reports. • Defect diagnosis reports • Schedules of Condition Skills: • Technical knowledge of planning, construction and design • Strong IT literacy with Microsoft Office Suite. • Good written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to deal with people and integrate into the team • Knowledge of Health and Safety matters. • Self-motivation, responsibility and a curiosity to learn. Entry: • Will require an RICS BSc accredited or MSc in Building Surveying. • A view to completing the APC to become a Chartered Building Surveyor.
