Senior Project Support Manager

Job Description

Senior Project Support Manager Based London The Senior Project Support Manager (SPSM), has responsibility for the operational delivery of key finance process and administrative activities (processing, reporting and compliance) that Project Support Managers (PSMs) support Project Managers with on projects. You will enable the Project teams in a role bot unfamiliar to classic Construction Office Management. The SPSM will: Be responsible for maintaining key site based relationship, in particular with the Project and Site Manager Be responsible for ensuring project managers are supported in a consistent, standard way for large scale projects Trouble shooting and intervening at Projects across a wide geographic area The onboarding of new PSM at new Project site’s – to ensure that standard PSM practices are carried out Making the appropriate interventions (e.g. highlighting lack of process compliance) upon collecting/reviewing metrics to support SLA reporting and team performance monitoring Support the PSM Process Lead with the development and implementation of overall finance strategy Manage, plan and organise the PSM site based team members to meet the Site based Project demands of the business Skills & experience: Significant experience working in a construction industry, managing staff in a process organised team, ideally in the purchase to pay process and/or broad business administration Experienced relationship manager Construction Industry Site experience Team lead experience Frequently challenges thinking and strives to make incremental improvements to services and processes Assumes leadership role within the Team by providing clear direction, priorities and by facilitating Team Goal setting Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
