Salary: circa £45,000 (depending on experience)

I am looking for a skilled Lift Technician of passenger lifts to fault find, diagnose and resolve faults managing customer expectations. You must have at least 5 years working as a Technician in the lift industry. This is a unique opportunity to progress in the lift industry and become a Project Manager. Our client services, repairs and installs all types of lifts including goods, platform and passenger lifts.

The Ideal Candidate:

NVQ 3 Qualified Technician or Senior Lift Engineer

A minimum of 5 years working as a Service & Breakdown Engineer in the lift & escalator industry, preferably with Technician experience

Technically minded - electrically, mechanically and hydraulics

A confident, people person for this customer facing role, able to communicate at all levels

A competent, quick thinking individual able to investigate, diagnose and advise both Engineers and customers with product and industry mastery

Experience working in North West UK

Exposure to testing lifts or lift products / equipment

Technician Responsibilities:

Delivering rapid turnaround solutions to complex problems relating to customer systems, including electronic troubleshooting, delivering work within defined SLA service level on a consistent basis.

Managing schedules meeting customer SLAs, acting as the point of escalation for technical faults.

Deliver a demanding service contract, covering over 100 lifts in the north West

Achieve response rates to any failure or breakdown to minimise down times.

Servicing, Repairing, assisting with commissioning lifts

Diagnostic and Reporting

Costing Analysis of components - modernisations / refurbishment discussions

Offering technical guidance and advice over the phone for Engineers and customers

Lift Technician Characteristics

Experienced Lift engineer at Tester/Technician level (NVQ Level 3 required)

Industry Knowledge & experience (minimum of 5 years)

Hardworking, prepared to respond promptly to call-outs

Flexible travelling NorthWest of UK

Characteristics: hard working, reliable, good time management skills, customer service, team player
