About the role

Our Peterborough Asphalt Plant Laboratory provides technical and material testing assistance for the business. Working in parallel of ensuring that we operate in accordance with the requirements of BS EN standards as well as customer agreed specifications, including maintenance and awareness of current Health and Safety ,Environmental and Quality Assurance requirements. As a Laboratory Technician, you’ll develop effective working relationships with other departments around the business, whilst providing technical support as required. Key responsibilities as Laboratory Technician will include:

 

- reporting on trends and data

- liaising with laboratory customers to help provide a high standard of service.

- ensure quality and technical performance is maintained

- strong all-round interpersonal skills

- good team-working skills but with the ability to work unsupervised when required
