Internal Sales Representative (Ref: 9833)

Job Description

We have an opportunity for a confident Internal Sales Representative working as part of our Aggregate division at our Plymouth Offices. You will identify, manage and track all opportunities within a geographical area in line with the territory plan and build relationships with prospective customers and influencers About the role You will gain a good understanding of regional market conditions, competitor activity and develop relationships with the customer base in order to maximise profitable business. Other elements to the role include: Achieve sales targets and overall business goals through the establishment, maintenance and improvement of business relationships and market knowledge within a designated territory Raise the profile of Aggregate Industries (AI) within the designated sales territory and/or key accounts Win new business, either directly or through partners Proactively identify, target, chase and secure attractive business opportunities Seek and establish market knowledge, competitor activity, customer activity and action in line with commercial policy Be proactive in promoting the full product range (cross promotion) to all customers Fully utilise CRM Provide solutions for customers from internal and external sources Attend customer entertainment/visits and site visits as required Take an active part in creating and maintaining the forward order book (FOB) Investigate and update customer price queries Develop own performance through learning and development activities including coaching What will you bring? Selling and negotiation skills are highly desirable Organised with ability to prioritise Experienced in using various IT systems and CRM's Information seeking/questioning techniques Self-motivated and able to work under your own initiative Geograhical knowledge is desirable Strong Commercial acumen ​ What’s on offer?
