Assistant Site Manager

Job Description

Due to continued expansion we are seeking to recruit experienced Assistant Site Managers for our clients' new residential developments in Lincolnshire.

The successful applicants must have excellent management skills, with a thorough knowledge of both traditional and timber frame construction combined with a comprehensive health and safety understanding. You will have a track record of effectively managing (or assisting with the management of) residential developments, and producing high quality new homes on programme, and to meet the needs of our valued customers.

Our client is one of the leading new home developers in Lincolnshire. We enjoy an enviable reputation for building quality new homes on attractive well designed developments varying in size from c30 units up to 500 units.

The company continues to grow in a planned and sustainable way, and we are looking to appoint experienced, driven and ambitious Assistant Site Managers to help them deliver their expansion plans, and meet customer expectations.

The Position:

* An experienced Assistant Site Manager (or a Site Manager who wishes to undertake a different role) to assist the Site Manager in his / her duties of managing construction site activities in a safe, professional and organised manager.

Role:

Assisting the Site Manager but not limited to :-

* Site planning, organisation & management.
* Staff & contractor management and supervision.
* Material scheduling and ordering.
* Managing Health & Safety.
* Building new homes & associated works to meet the company's build programme and targets.
* Managing of Quality to ensure the company meets all required standards.
* Management of customer care process.
* Inspections.
* Liaising with sales staff, head office, site inspectors etc.
* Attend and input to meetings as required.

Qualifications:

Preferably you will hold the following current qualifications, however, we are very happy to support any training that may be required to cover any gaps.

* Site Managers Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) or SSSTS for Assistants.
* NVQ Level 4 (Site Supervisor).
* First Aid at work Qualification (3 Day).
* CSCS card holder (Black Site Managers CSCS preferred).
* CISRS 3 day scaffold inspection course.
* Fire Marshall.
* Must hold a full valid UK driving license.
