Travel, Tourism & Business Lecturer

Job Description

For over three decades, our client has been providing a friendly, inclusive learning environment for learners of all ages and abilities from across Swindon and Wiltshire. They have a great team of academic and support staff who are committed to providing their students with the best teaching and learning, development opportunities and guidance throughout their time there.

They deliver academic qualifications (GCSEs, A Levels); vocational qualifications, degree-level courses, Apprenticeships, professional and business courses and training and leisure courses. They have something for all!

Learners have risen from 1,700 in 1996 to 10,000 in 2017/18, including 3000 16-18 learners and 7000 aged 19+. Each learner has their own personal goals. Whether it's to secure a university place, kick-start their dream career, or gain a promotion or discover a new hobby and meet new people, we have a course to help them achieve that.

They welcome all ability levels from entry to higher and cover most sector skills areas with their network partners. Over 500 students progress to university annually, with many also going on to jobs and Apprenticeships.

They offer a choice of 140+ courses; something that no school or sixth form and very few other providers in the area can match. In fact they are placed 14th out of all Colleges nationally and 1st across local colleges (Swindon, Wiltshire and Cirencester) in the National Achievement rate tables for the 16-18 age group.
