Area SHE Advisor

Area SHE Advisor - Fife/Grampian, Scotland

Full time, permanent

Breedon is seeking a dynamic Area SHE Advisor to provide health, safety and environmental support to its aggregates and ready mixed concrete business, based in either Fife or Grampian area, Scotland.

The ideal candidate must be confident and a strong communicator who can influence people and win hearts and minds when it comes to safety, health and the environment. In addition, candidates should also have:

  • NEBOSH diploma/certificate or equivalent H&S qualification
  • Good working knowledge of SHE legislation
  • Experience in a similar role, ideally within the quarrying / construction materials sector
  • Working knowledge of ISO management systems
  • Full clean driving license
  • Ability to work closely with site managers and progress compliance on operational sites.

The successful candidate will report to the Regional SHE Manager and work closely with the operational management team to provide day to day support and will also have the opportunity to support the wider SHE team in developing elements of the SHE management system, so good communication and IT skills are essential.

We're looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated individual, with a can-do attitude, to help us achieve our goal of making Breedon the safest construction materials business in the UK.
