Senior Structural Engineer
East Midlands
to £50,000 depending on experience

- Are you a Senior Structural Engineer?
- Do you have extensive experience working with timber structures?
- Are you Chartered (either MICE or MIStructE preferred) or very close to achieving Chartered status?
- Is it time for you to take your career to the next stage in offsite construction?

The role of Senior Structural Engineer with this innovative player within offsite construction involves:
- Carrying out design calculations as well as external inspections to ensure structural integrity is maintained
- Advising your colleagues and other stakeholders on the buildability and cost-effectiveness of the structures
- Liaising with external Engineers
- Attending design team meetings
Please apply today if you are:
- Qualified Structural Engineer either Chartered or at advanced stages of your journey towards Chartered status
- Confident in your knowledge of British Standards (BS EN 1995) with particular focus on timber (eg BS5268 or Eurocode 5)
- Able to demonstrate your advanced experience and knowledge of engineered timber, timber frame, SIPS or similar
- Familiar with design of structural elements of light gauge steel and other building materials
- Knowledgeable of Building Regulations as well as Health & Safety and Environmental Regulations
- Confident in your experience with BIM
- Experienced in working with the housing sector
