Senior Town Planner Job in Kent
My client has a Senior Town Planner job available in their planning consultancy in Kent. This is an exciting opportunity to join a small planning constancy who are looking to grow and can offer plenty of career progression.
This planning consultancy is looking to grow the team by appointing a Senior Town Planner. You'll be working on small scale developments such as office conversations to residential, 10 - 20 unit size approximately, as well as other types of projects. You'll mainly be dealing with Maidstone, Ashford and Tunbridge Well councils. Experience working with these councils would be an advantage.
Role & Responsibilities
- Preparation of planning appraisals and reports
- Promoting planning applications and securing permissions
- Preparation of planning appeals
- Preparing reports and statements
- Liaising with clients and local authorities
- Supporting the Directors
Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years experience
- Relevant Degree
- RTPI or working towards
